How to Reinforce Positive Behaviors


Good morning!

Coming to you from week 4 of maternity leave, my brain is fried and I am missing the days where I got more than 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Parents, please reply to this email and spam me with any baby tips you have!

Today's blog post includes some tips for providing positive reinforcement for your secondary students. I find it so difficult finding things that motivate my middle schoolers. They are too old for some of the "kid stuff" I used when I worked in an elementary school. But I'm also limited by school rules with what I can use to reinforce positive behavior. Here are some ideas for things I have tried.
